According to a Government Informa-tion Agency press release Jagdeo offered condolences to Seeraj’s parents and siblings at the Ruimzeight site where they had gathered to pay last respects.
Seeraj was found dead in his office at the Parika Health Centre on February 15. A post-mortem examination on February 18 revealed that the 42-year-old was strangled.
