The IAC extends greetings to the nation on the occasion of Phagwah, particularly to devotees who are guided by the philosophical teachings of Sanatan Dharma.
In a press release the Indian Arrival Committee (IAC) said Phagwah or Holi has its roots in antiquity and celebrates the coming of a new spring season and the dawning of a new year. “The exuberance of this festival reflects the collective hope of the people for progress and prosperity and the concomitant betterment of their lives,” the release said.
The IAC urges all citizens to make merry during the festival as it celebrates life and hope and as always is a focus for national unity.
