Singh, resuming on his overnight score of 65, reached 123 to join Ricardo Jadunauth (111) and Wasim Haslim (110) as the centurions before their team put GNIC to bat again.
Undefeated batsman from day two Jeetendra Sukhdeo, resuming on nine, ended with 48 as GNIC’s Leonard Charles and Walter Henry picked up three and two wickets apiece.
In GNIC’s second innings they only managed 135 after making 213 all out in the first innings. Ejaz Mohammed was the only GNIC batsman to offer any resistance with a defiant 67. Ricardo Jadunauth (2-1), Kevin Ogle (2-13), Leon Johnson, who scored 53 in GCC’s mammoth total, (2-40) and Raj Nanan (1-16) helped to destroy GNIC cheaply.
Over at the Malteenoes Sports Club Ground (MSC) national player Trevor Benn continued his fine form in the match when he took a hat-trick and scored his second half century of the game against Nandy Park who lost to Police. Benn finished with 3-28 after they set the East bank team 281 for victory in the second innings.
Police in their second innings reached 181-5 declared with Benn scoring 51 to add to his first innings score of 66 and Shameer Fazal making 40. They then dismissed Nandy Park for a paltry 124 all out with D. Hudson contributing an even half century.
Vishal Jaigobin assisted Benn by picking up three wickets for 46 runs.
