The PPP is groping in the dark struggling to decide on a real presidential candidate for the 2011 elections, and they have one in their midst whom the party top brass are failing to recognize. Or are they afraid of him?
Dr Frank Anthony graduated from the grass-roots of the movement since he was a child waving the party’s flag and selling the Mirror newspaper. He became the leader of the PYO representing the party on countless occasions at home and abroad. His organizational and managerial skills were clearly demonstrated when Guyana hosted a successful Carifesta two years ago. More recently, the success of the Mash celebrations can attest to his abilities to organize and motivate diverse groups to work collectively. He runs the most efficient ministry in the country. Among the party ranks Dr Anthony is number one. He is the best presidential candidate for these times – bright, courageous, hard working, clean, a good family man and a very loyal and patriotic Guyanese.
We in the Guyanese diaspora recognize and support Dr Anthony as someone who is capable of lifting Guyana to first world status. He has the ability and credibility to unite Guyanese at home and aboard.
