JFAP Leader CN Sharma salutes women for their courage and endurance of daily struggles in order to make a difference for peace and the development in the world.
Sharma made this statement in honour of International Women’s Day which was celebrated yesterday. In a press release he said Guyana will only progress when women take a stand and determine to eradicate poverty, physical, emotional and sexual abuse against the members of their sex.
Sharma said too “Progress for all comes from a greater representation of women in all levels of national and international bodies which will highlight their rights for justice and peace for the nation.”
