I do hope that when the history of New Amsterdam Public Hospital is written, it will be stated that the present government presided over its destruction.
What a shame to see the present state of the old building and the other buildings located in the compound.
The Minister of Health should be ashamed to say anyone was born in Berbice. In adding insult to injury, the hospital complex has security guards on a daily basis. I suppose this is all a part of good governance?
