The Delhi Daredevils cruised to a six wicket win over the Rajasthan Royals yesterday as the Indian Premier League continued.
Batting first the Royals mustered 141 for six wickets off their allotted 20 overs with Abishek Jhunjhunwala topscoring with 53.
He received support from Paras Dogra and Naman Ojha with 29 and 24 runs respectively.
Farveez Maharoof, Pradeep Sangwan, Amit Mishra and Dirk Nannes grabbed a wicket each for 32, 20, 34 and 27 runs respectively.
In reply, Virender Sehwag blasted the top score of 75 and Dinesh Karthik scored an unbeaten 23 as the Delhi Daredevils won with 17 balls to spare.
Dimitri Mascaarenhas picked up 2-31 while there was a wicket each for Munaf Patel and Shane Warne.
It was the second defeat for the Rajasthan Royals following their loss to the Mumbai Indians on Saturday.
Two more matches are scheduled for today with the Royal Challengers Bangalore taking on the Kings XI Punjab and the Kolkata Knight Riders taking on the Chennai Super Kings.
