Guyana all-rounder Christopher Barnwell struck a masterful 118 to lead W-Connection Wanderers to a draw against Evergreen on Sunday in the Eastern Credit Union Premiership Division in Trinidad and Tobago.
Wanderers batted first and scored 242 all out to which Evergreen replied with 324 all out.
Leading the way for Evergreen was another Guyanese Steven Jacobs who transformed his overnight 117 to 146. Wanderers, batting a second time, then got to 354/7 with Barnwell hitting a brilliant 118.
The match ended in a draw.
In another top flight match, Homchand Pooran was in form with bat and ball for First Citizens Clarke Road who drew with Preysal. Clarke Road batted first and scored 263, to which Preysal replied with 292. Pooran grabbed 2/29 bowling off-spin.
Batting a second time, Clarke Road reached 94/4 with Pooran hitting an unbeaten 37 to avoid a collapse.
