The East Bank Cricket Association (EBCA) has named a strong 14-man side led by Jagdesh Bishun to oppose East Coast Demerara in the Demerara Cricket Board’s limited overs tournament which commences today.
Bishun is the younger brother of former national Under-19 left-arm orthodox spinner and he will have as his deputy Mark Rhobe.
The two teams will square off at the Lusignan Community Centre ground, East Coast Demerara from 9.30am.
The teams reads:Jagdesh Bishun (captain), Mark Rhobe (vice captain), Christopher Van Tull, Romel Peters, Shivram Persaud, Daywandat Singh, Kenny Lawrence, John Paton, Kamal Ramkissoon, Corwin Austin, Eon Rodrigues, Rajendra Persaud, Robert Gill and Daniel Barker.
The three standby players are Kevin Plant, Neal Javid and Khemraj Singh.
