The teen and Jason Paddy of 112 Vreed-en-Vrien-Schapp, Canal Number One, West Bank Demerara were not required to plead to the indictable charges of carnal knowledge of a girl between the age of 15 and 16 years and aiding and abetting and were granted bail in the sum of $150,000 each by Magistrate Nyasha Williams-Hatmin.
It is alleged that on March 19 at Vreed-en-Vrien-Schapp, the 16-year-old had carnal knowledge of the 15-year-old girl. It is also alleged that on the same day, Paddy aided and abetted the 16-year-old to commit the offence. The matter was reported to police and following investigations, they were both arrested and charged. They will return to court on May 10 at the Wales Magistrate’s court.
