Harvey Gobin, Vice-President of the association, told attendees that PAAG is trying to showcase some of the items that could be handmade. It is hoped that the exhibition would have demonstrated the ability to turn simple scrap materials into beautiful works of art. There were displays of work done by members of the association, and this included pieces of paintings, drawings, graphic designs and tie-dying, among others.
The PAAG was formed in 2008 and hopes to promote visual and performing arts by holding a number of workshops where persons would become more involved and recognise the diversity of art forms.
Workshops will be held in various areas of visual arts, script writing, performing arts and cosmetology. These workshops will be conducted by knowledgeable members of the association. Interested persons can contact the association on telephone number 225-7224 or by visiting their office at 56 Robb Street, Lacytown.
