Cinderella Promotions will host the inaugural Zeelugt Village Day weekend and has planned a string of activities which it says are family-focused.
The activities are slated for April 3-5 and include a health run; three concept parties; a duck curry competition; an inter-religious service and softball cricket among others. In the spirit of Easter, a kite flying competition is also planned.
Cinderella Promotions said in a release this week that the event is significant for the village given the commercial and social opportunities which are likely. “We are so excited about the potential of the event that we are inviting individuals and companies to contribute or partner with us towards the development and successful presentation of this event,” the company said.
Carib Beer, Spotlight Production, Cell’s Taxi and Rovin’s DVD Shop have signalled support for the event, according to Cinderella Promotions, which is still looking for additional support.
