Competing in the girls’ Under-18 qualifying rounds, Ramrattan lost to Jenice Ayuen (Barbados) 2-6, 5-7 while Sukra was beaten by USA’s Liza Davis 0-6, 3-6.
Sukra and Ramrattan also lost their doubles encounter 0-6, 0-6.
In the boys’ Under-14 category, Lewis won two of his three matches in the qualifying rounds to advance to the main draw.
He defeated Trinidadians Dwayne Drakes 4-0, 4-1 and Curtis DaSilva 4-2, 5-4 (12/10) but lost to Elan Mendes also of Trinidad 3-5, 1-4.
Lewis was then beaten in the first round of the main draw by Trinidad’s Ty Abrams losing 2-6, 0-6.
Stephney gained a walkover in his first match before losing twice to Abrams 0-4, 0-4 and 1-4, 4-2, 5-4 in the qualifier.
Benedict Sukra won one match but lost two. He won against Juanaldo Greig (Trinidad) 4-2, 4-0 but lost 0-4, 0-4 to Ross Hackshaw (Trinidad) and 1-4, 0-4 to Gavin Hutchson of Barbados.
He subsequently lost to Ryan Thomas 0-4, 0-4 while Stephney lost 1-4, 0-4 to Aaron Soo-Ping Chow in the consolation.
In the girls’ Under-14 category, Ramdyhan won two matches and lost one.
She defeated Chenice Fenty of Barbados 4-0, 5-3 and Trinidad’s Sinead Aleung) 4-2, 4-0 but lost to Olivia Johnson of Trinidad 0-4, 1-4.
In the main draw Ramdyhan was beaten in the first round by St. Lucia’s number one Julia D’Auvergne 1-6, 0-6.
