Dear Editor,
I was walking on the beach in the vicinity of the bandstand at the Georgetown Seawall on Sunday last and noticed a few strange creatures on the sand. Please note that I am not an authority on sea creatures but it seems as though they are little jelly fishes.
These creatures look like little inflated pink balloons and are approximately four inches in length and seem to have washed ashore. I counted five of them in that short span of sand.
I wish the competent authorities can check this out because lots of parents were in the water playing with their kids. Some of these kids were no older than four years.
Yours faithfully,
Indira Thakurdin
