A Brazilian who sustained injuries after he lost control of an ATV [All Terrain Vehicle] was pronounced dead on arrival at the Bartica Hospital on Wednesday.

Carlos De Souza, police said in a release yesterday, was driving along the Takutu Trail, Bartica when he lost control of the vehicle which turned turtle. De Souza, 39, of Light Street, Bourda Georgetown reportedly died before he arrived at the medical institution.

The accident occurred at about 2.30pm.
