The Pamela Bourne UG Environmental Enhancement Project – Donate A Tree is inviting the public to purchase trees that will be used to beautify the Turkeyen Campus.

According to a press release Pamela Bourne, wife of UG Chancellor Dr Compton Bourne, is patron of an eleven-member committee undertaking the project. The other members are Yvonne Stephenson, Dr Marlene Cox, Elsie Croal, Lystra Fletcher-Paul, Lorene Grant, Sumedha Mahadeo, Charles Nelson, James Singh, Yolanda Vasconcellos and Dr Theodosius Velloza.

The public is asked to make monetary donations toward the purchase of specially-selected trees to the Pamela Bourne UG Environmental Enhancement Project – Donate A Tree project at the Guyana Bank for Trade and Industry, University of Guyana Special Funds Account # CIUA009886. The Committee is also accepting donations in the form of services such as transportation, loan of equipment, labour and provision of soil.
