Magistrate Ann McLennan dismissed a trafficking in narcotics case against a Linden man who is currently serving time for another matter.
Magistrate McLennon said the prosecution had failed to prove its case at the Christiansburg Magistrates’ Court, when the accused, Eusi Sandy, appeared to answer to the charge on Wednesday.
It was alleged that on Tuesday, December 4, 2004 at Coop Crescent, Mackenzie, Linden, Sandy had in his possession 12 grammes of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking. After the verdict was read, Sandy was escorted back to prison to continue serving his sentence in another narcotics matter.
