The Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) has named Natasha Gangoo of West Berbice to lead the county in the upcoming Inter-County Female Tournament.
The team will be without the services of regular captain and West Indies player Shemaine Campbell and international player Tremayne Smartt who are currently attending a camp for the West Indies’ women’s team.
Meanwhile, West Indies player Erva Giddings will fulfil the role of team deputy and the rest of the squad will comprise Katana Mentore, Steffi Rodney, Phaffiana Millington, Nirmala Sewdat, Shenella McBean, Melanie Henry, Jacquelin Singh, Sabrina Munroe, Tessa Park, Hermala Sewdat and Oneicha Tello.
The stand-by players are Ceylon Daniels, Sherry Ann Fraser and Sherica Campbell. Assistant Secretary of the BCB Carol Nurse will serve as the team’s manager and Winston Smith as its coach.
