Preparations for Wedding Expo 2010 are proceeding in excellent fashion and so far thirty one exhibitors have registered to be a part of the three day event which is expected to draw thousands.
The Wedding Expo, which was designed to enable the showcasing of all services connected to weddings, promises to do just that with a myriad of exhibitors covering all the sectors including photography, bride and groom wear, car rentals, limousine services, cake makers, event planners, florists, tour companies, beverage suppliers, caterers, beauty salons, wedding decorators, party stores, jewellery and much more.
In a press release, organisers said that due to the “unprecedented demand” for exhibitor booths, prospective exhibitors are advised to ensure that they complete the registration process immediately.
The Wedding Expo is free and according to the release, last year in excess of five thousand people attended during the three days. They received an unending stream of information, glamorous fashion shows and door prizes which included a dream honeymoon for a couple to Jamaica, compliments of Caribbean Airlines and the Jamaica Pegasus.
Organisers promise that the fashion shows that will be held this year will “tantalise” and will see local fashion designers showcasing their pieces every night. The opening and closing shows are expected to delight attendees with a “formidable line up of cultural items”.
The event is being sponsored by GT&T, Hand in Hand Group of Companies and Scotia Bank.
