A man was refused bail yesterday when he appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton charged with robbery-under-arms.

Regan Rodrigues, of D’urban Street, Lodge was not required to plead to the indictable offence.

It is alleged that on December 4, 2009 at Georgetown being armed with a gun robbed Maxwell Thom of a digital video recorder, two computer monitors and $200,000 cash; items amounting to $920,000.
He was refused bail and is set to make his next court appearance on April 16.
