Police said yesterday that the men attacked the licensed firearm holder with an ice-pick during the confrontation. The man then discharged the round and it is believed to have wounded one of the four, but they all managed to escape in a car.
An overseas based Guyanese had parked the car and had gone to a nearby snackette when the men broke in. A digital camera and a cell phone were reported stolen, according to the police. Investigations are continuing.
