This farmer, Veno Singh of Cotton Tree, West Coast Berbice was proud when he reaped sweet potatoes from his farm and discovered two roots that weighed 28 and 17 pounds respectively. Singh who re-migrated one and a half years ago said this is the first time he has reaped such bumper crops. He is still in the process of reaping and hopes he would have even bigger crops.
