Dear Editor,
Last month the post office on Lamaha Street rejected my new national ID card because the Old Age Pension had the old ID number. I had experienced this problem at another post office some time ago but because I knew the staff I was accommodated.
I would suggest that the Ministry of Human Services communicate with the GPO on this matter to avoid the transportation cost it could entail for some pensioners.
