No heavy-duty and slow-moving vehicles will be allowed along the East Bank Demerara between Houston and Timehri today between the hours of 6 am and 2 pm, the police said.
The restriction is to facilitate the hosting of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Twenty/20 matches at the Providence National Stadium.
While the restriction was announced before, the hours were previously listed between 6 am and 11 am but the police said having reviewed the traffic situation they decided to change the timings for the Traffic Restriction relating to heavy-duty and slow-moving vehicles between Houston and Timehri.
