Dear Editor,
I write on behalf of all the artists who participated in the Cubana Airline disaster painting competition hosted by the Ministry of Local Government in February 2009. April 25, 2010 marks one year and one month since the deadline for submission of entries.
By no logic or reasoning can we understand why there has been no word about the competition, or a result from the Ministry of Local Government.
We pray that when this letter is published the President will intervene because of this long delay in relation to our investment. Trying to reach the Minister for an explanation has proved futile.
Good Heavens, what could have gone this wrong for poor Guyanese artists!
