Neera Krammer, the Kamarang child who was injured by three small wire arrows, was released from the hospital yesterday and is at the Amerindian Hostel waiting to be transported home.
Krammer, three-years-old, underwent surgery at the Georgetown Public Hospital on Thursday night several hours after sustaining her injury. Jennifer Krammer, a relative, told Stabroek News that the metal had been removed from the child’s ear and after the wounds heal she will be fine.
“She (Neera) was outside playing with her cousin and he accidentally made the wire arrows bore her right through the left ear,” Jennifer Krammer recalled.
The child was immediately rushed to the local medic and was then air dashed to the city in the care of a nurse.
