The Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) named a 24-man training squad yesterday for the upcoming regional under-19 tournament in St Vincent and the Grenadines in late July.
On paper, selectors will have a difficult timeselecting a final 14 to represent Guyana in the tournament. Some of the players in the squad represented Guyana in last year’s tournament and will be looking to cement their places ahead of some of the newcomers who have been knocking on the selectors’ door for some time now.
