The Private Sector Commission (PSC) elected a new executive at its annual general meeting last Friday.
The new PSC chairman is Ramesh Dookhoo, Business Development Executive of Banks DIH Limited. Meanwhile, Yog Mahadeo, Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company; Chandradat Chintamani, Managing Director of the Demerara Tobacco Company; and Andrew Astwood, President of the Shipping Association of Guyana were elected vice-chairman, treasurer and secretary, respectively. Chintamani retained his position as treasurer.
In a press release issued yesterday the PSC said that these men are no strangers to the organisation since they have served in various positions previously and they have a wealth of experience.
