Teddies Disposable Diapers distributed a number of Mother’s Day hampers to mothers at several city hospitals on Saturday.
In a press release the distributors, D’n A Marketing said it was honoured to present the first hamper to Kavita Sahadeo who gave birth to twin girls at the Georgetown Medical clinic. The girls weighed 1kg, 250 g and 1kg, 100g respectively.
Presentations were also made at the Georgetown Hospital. Samantha Thomas of Vigilance gave birth to the first baby girl born on Mother’s Day. She weighed 2kg, 600g. Dacia Niles of Werk-en-Rust gave birth to the first baby boy born on Mother’s Day. He weighed 2kg, 800g. Also, Bharati Ramroop of Lusignan gave birth to a baby girl, who weighed 2kg, 620g.
There were two births at the St Joseph Mercy Hospital and Woodlands Hospital, at the time of the presentation, the release said. The hampers for the Mother’s Day babies contained a month’s supply of Teddies diapers, a Teddies bib and pillow. Thirty-two other mothers in the city hospital’s post natal ward were each given Teddies Hampers containing two packs of Teddies diapers, a Teddies bib and pillow.
