The Guyana Police Force yesterday issued wanted bulletins for two men, who are being sought for questioning in relation to attempted murder and narcotics trafficking.
In a statement, police said Earl Scott, a Laing Avenue resident, is wanted for questioning in relation to the attempted murder of a man.
Scott is wanted in connection with an incident which occurred on May 3, during which Ryan Nichols was stabbed at Laing Avenue, Georgetown. The wanted man is 33 years old, brown in complexion, stands at 5 feet 9 inches, is of a slim build and his last known address is Lot 221 Laing Avenue. Police requested anyone with information that may lead to his arrest to contact them on telephone numbers 226-7065, 225-6941, 225-3052, 225-6411, 225-7625, 911 or the nearest police station. All information, police said, will be treated with “strict confidence.”
Meanwhile, police also announced that it was seeking the public’s help to find a man wanted for questioning in relation to trafficking in narcotics. Police provided a photograph of the man but no name. A source said the name that the police had for him was found to be false. Anyone with information that could lead to the identification and the arrest of the person is being asked to contact the police on 225-6411, 226-6978, 226-2870, 225-1111, 911 or the nearest police station.
