IPA on board for three-stage cycle race

The  International Pharmaceutical Agency (IPA) Group of Companies has come on board for the annual National Sports Commission (NSC) three-stage cycling event.

On Wednesday IPA, one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in Guyana presented cases of Clear Water for use by the cyclists and officials this weekend.

The presentation was made at the company’s water factory at Industrial Site, Eccles, East Bank Demerara.  President of Roraima Cycle Club, Brian Allen, who is also chairman of the competitions committee of the Guyana Cycling Federation, thanked IPA for its timely gesture and its continued support.

Rani Parashram, a representative of IPA, said they were happy to be a part of the cycling event while race car driver Gavin Gouveia,  who is also sponsored by IPA, was instrumental in the water being donated by IPA Managing Director,  Lloyd Singh.

The race will start from Corriverton, Berbice today and will end the following day on Mandela Avenue.
