In an effort to raise funds to send a child overseas for surgery to fix a dislocated spine, the Kool Runnings Family of Enmore will stage a six-a-side, five-overs softball cricket competition at the Enmore Community Centre ground on  May 26 (Independence Day).

The action is set to commence at 09:30h, and interested teams will be required to pay an entrance fee of $3000 each to participate.
The champion side will receive a ram sheep and a trophy, while the losing finalist will collect a trophy and a refund of their entrance fee. There will also be trophies for the best batsman in the final, best bowler in the final, and the best dressed team in the competition.
