In celebration of Guyana’s 44th Independence anniversary the Beepat Scorpions Basketball Club will host its third annual Inter-Organisation one day basketball tournament on May 26 at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.
The tournament is scheduled to begin at 9am and is expected to be contested by a total of 20 organisations who have indicated interest in participating including defending champions, Guyana Power and Light (GPL).
Supporters can also expect to see non-active and past national players showcasing their talent in the tournament as they represent their respective places of employment or organisation. The tournament will commence with the knockout rounds followed by the semi finals and final which will be held later in the day.
