A man is nursing a stab wound in the vicinity of the lungs after he had an argument with another man last evening.
Andre Sanmoogan, 27, of 37 D’urban Street, Lodge according to an eyewitness to the incident, had just left the home of his reputed wife in Norton Street when he was approached by a man.
An argument erupted between the two men and in the heat of the moment the attacker pulled a weapon and dealt Sanmoogan one stab wound before escaping.
Sanmoogan, a paint technician, was being treated in the Accident and Emergency Unit of the Georgetown Public Hospital. According to reports the man sustained damage to his lungs and had to have a tube inserted for him to breathe.
