Dear Editor,
I write in relation to our beloved Bomeshwar Sukdeo (Anil) whose life was violently snuffed out five months ago. While we wait patiently on our legal system to take its course in this case, we feel that not much is being done by the Police Force, since the DNA test is still to be completed. The Sukdeo family had expressed a willingness to cover the cost of the DNA test, but had been advised that it was the responsibility of the Guyana Police Force and as such it would be undertaken by them.
The question, however, is when, when will the DNA test be completed? The absence of a DNA test could lead to the case being discharged because of lack of evidence.
We the family of Bomeshwar Sukdeo appeal to the Government of Guyana, Minister Rohee and the Guyana Police Force to have the DNA test that was taken in January completed.
Yours faithfully,
