Siblings Narayan and Priyanna Ramdhani dominated the Guyana Badminton Association West Indian Sports Complex Annual Independence junior singles badminton tournament held on Wednesday at the Queen’s College Badminton Courts.
The Ramdhanis captured two divisions each with Priyanna winning the Girls’ U-11 and U-13 divisions and Narayan capturing the Boys’ U-13 and U-15 categories.
Ajave Singh defeated Shane Shewjattan to cart off the Boys’ U-11 category while Jenelle Europe denied Priyanna Ramdhani a hat trick of titles with a straight sets win in the Girls’ U-15 final.

Boys’ U-13 final: Narayan Ramdhani def. Fabian Bainchini 21-4, 21-5.
Girls’ U-15 final: Jonelle Europe def. Priyanna Ramdhani 21-17, 21-12.
Boys’ U-15 final: Narayan Ramdhani defeated Andrew Peroune: 21-10, 22-20.
The presentation to first three finishers will take place next week.
