The inclement weather has once more forced the postponement of a major competition and this time it is the Coca Cola Senior Football League tournament in Berbice which has been affected.
According to a release from the Berbice Football Association (BFA) “unfavourable weather conditions which has left the Blairmont Community Development Centre Ground in a soggy state,” was the reason for the postponement of today’s scheduled semi-finals.
The release added that the BFA has been examining alternative venues and has held discussions with the competitions committee of the BFA.
A meeting is planned for Wednesday to discuss alter alternatives and decide the next move,” the release stated.
