I would like to congratulate the Guyana Power & Light (GPL) Basketball Team for securing the Inter-Organization Basketball title for the second consecutive year at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall last week.
It is always a wonderful initiative when organizations compete in sport and assert their superiority on the court or field. I would like to see GPL fielding other teams to take part in other sporting events. This will certainly raise the morale of its staff and further enhance the image of the Company.
Also, I must commend the sponsors of this year’s event for their commitment to this sporting initiative that aids relationship building and admirable camaraderie among workers from different organizations.
You did well GPL!
