That is the business tag line of the spanking new branch of Rite Vitamins Incorporated which officially opened its doors to the Guyanese public Friday.
The company, located at Lot A Alexander Street, Kitty, retails and manufactures vitamins and supplements from the United States according to proprietor and chief financial officer, Joe Knights.
Knights, in his address prior to the cutting of the ribbon on Friday, declared that the branch was the first of many branches they hope to have in Guyana.
“Our goal is to help every single Guyanese to become health conscious the best way we can by providing affordable and quality vitamins and supplements,” Knights said.
The company will be retailing their fitness line of products including their number one retail brand ‘Maximuscle’ which the company said has been endorsed by English fast bowler Stuart Broad.
It also has a health food section which markets organic vitamins and supplements.
“Our vitamins are of quality and are affordable,” Knights stated.
He said the idea behind the business venture was born on a recent visit to Guyana when he was unable to find quality supplements.
“I go out on the Seawall and I see people exercising and they look like their very health conscious, because they like to exercise and stay healthy… so providing there no vitamins and supplement I decided to introduce the branch,” Knights explained.
He also observed that on the fitness side, vitamins and supplements were very expensive locally and said that the company was willing to provide quality vitamins at a low price.
Also present at the opening ceremony were national squash player Mary Fung-a-Fat, national cricketer Leon Johnson and St. John’s College school teacher Nicole Nero.
Knights said the business will be looking to endorse local athletes in the near future.
“I’m looking forward to reach athletes who are not already at the high profile, but I’m looking at athletes who are currently in school,” Knights stated.
‘My only requirement is their doing well in school and that they want to excel in their sport,” he added.
