Several students of the Clonbrook Primary School on the East Bank Demerara yesterday played in water

Several students of the Clonbrook Primary School on the East Coast Demerara yesterday  played in water which had accumulated in the village and nearby communities. A resident at Clonbrook told this newspaper that the water, which accumulated following rains over the weekend, was receding yesterday. Residents there called on the authorities to improve drainage in the area as the rainy season continues. (Photo by Alva Solomon)
