Former national football captain Kayode Mc Kinnon was on target for Tobago United who went under to Ma Pau 1-3 in the latest round of matches in the Trinidad and Tobago Professional league.
Tevin Caesar, Kerry Noray and Anthony Wolfe were on target for Ma Pau who triumphed at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Mucurapo Friday night.
Going into the match, the ‘Casino Boys’ under coach Michael Mc Comie, had won only one of its previous four matches and were under a bit of pressure to come away with full points.
Tobago-born, Caesar provided them with the early spark when he opened the scoring in the 14th minute while Noray made it 2-0 in the 28th minute, a lead they held until half time.
Upon resumption, Tobago provided a tougher test and in the 64th minute sliced the lead in half through midfielder Mc Kinnon. Mc Kinnon brought life back into his team as they fought gallantly for the equaliser.
However, Tobago could not find the net and Wolfe added an injury time third goal for Ma Pau, for its second win of the season.
