This bus flipped into the air and nose dived into a trench after colliding with the car at the junction of Princes and High Streets. The bus driver’s name was given as Alim Khan and he sustained a crushed finger while his female passenger sustained abrasions to her chest area. The driver of the car, meanwhile, Damien Bacchus, did not sustain any visible injuries but his wife who was in the car at the time was rushed to the hospital after she announced she was pregnant. According to an eyewitness, the bus was heading east while the car was heading south. The estimated time of the accident was 8.30am. The bus was reportedly heading to the GRA office while the car was transporting “greens.” Public spirited citizens rushed to the aid of the persons in the vehicle after the collision.
