ALL FINANCIAL MEMBERS OF THE GUYANA GOLD & DIAMOND MINERS ASSOCIATION (GGDMA) MUST ATTEND THE MEETING ON THIS THURSDAY THE 10TH OF JUNE, 2010 AT 4 PM AT THEIR HEADQUARTERS IN NORTH ROAD, TO VOTE & ELECT A “STRONG” PRESIDENT OF THE GGDMA. A PRESIDENT WHO WILL BE 100 % PRO MINERS.
INFILTRATING AND COMPROMISING THE GGDMA–Certain anti mining persons have “taken a certain control” of some of our executives, and are planning to further weaken the Association by attempting to vote for persons , who they could control, to fill vacancies which exist.
THE EXECUTIVES OF THE GGDMA OWE THEIR COMPLETE LOYALTY TO THE GOLD & DIAMOND MINERS AND THE MINING INDUSTRY.—-We must, at all times, be respectful and courteous, as I have always been to President Jagdeo, but he does understand that OUR COMPLETE LOYALTY must always be in favour of our Gold and Diamond Miners and the Mining Industry, and we will accept any “proposal” from Government that is in the Interest of our miners, but will oppose any “proposal”, that is detrimental to them.
THE PLANNED COMPLETE SHUTDOWN OF ALL MINING & LOGGING OPERATIONS—In 2020 deforestation must be cut by half, while the complete deforestation by the cessation/shutdown/closure of all Mining & Logging Operations are planned for the year 2030, so says Mr. Jens Riese, head of sustainable economic development at the consultancy firm of McKinsey & Co. and which firm is also a consultant to our LCDS programme. Of course some “smart aleck” will say that Riese statement is not correct.
What bothers me, is not the time frame mentioned, but the fact that all Mining & Logging will have to CEASE Period. It would obviously means that there would have to be a GRADUAL Miniaturizing of all Mining & Logging, in order to stop an Explosion/Riot by the more than a hundred thousand persons who will be affected. This will, and is being done by the enforcement and introduction of clever hurdles/weapons, under the guise of “REGULATIONS”, that would gradually “take its toll” and bankrupt our miners, leaving a few of the financially stronger miners, for the time being.
THE BIGGEST SCAM IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND—CLIMATE CHANGE IS NOT MAN MADE—THE RELEASE OF Co2 GASES IN THE ATMOSPHERE HAS LITTLE , IF ANY TO DO WITH CLIMATE CHANGE—THE INCREASED HEAT OF THE SUN IS THE CULPRIT—MARS & EARTH ARE HEATING UP AT THE SAME TIME, PROVING THAT THE RESEARCH DONE BY HUNDREDS OF SCIENTISTS WHO ARGUE THAT IT IS THE SUN WHICH IS THE CAUSE., IS CORRECT—In my 5 page article, published in the SN on 13-01-10 , under the heading “CLIMATE CHANGE IS NOT MAN MADE” I said that Hundreds of scientists argue that the release of co2 gases has nothing to do with climate change, and argue that the truth is being suppressed by certain Governments and powerful Capitalists Business Conglomerates, who see the blame on the release of Co2 gases, as a way to make trillions of dollars, in all sorts of forms, since they cannot make one cent, if they expose the truth, that it is the INCREASE HEAT OF THE SUN, that is causing any climate change AT THIS PERIOD IN TIME OR CYCLE. And that is why all the scientists, who argue it is the sun, must be silenced and their reports discredited.
CARBON TRADING– is seen by the FINANCIAL CAPITALISTS VULTURES OF THE WORLD, as the new powerful multi trillion dollar financial trading item, greater than all other trading items, like bonds etc, all put together, AND THIS CARBON TRADING COULD LAST FOR DECADES TO COME, and that is why these FINANCIAL VULTURES WILL DO EVERYTHING TO STOP ALL MINING & LOGGING, in all over the world. The truth will now never be heard. There is too much at stake.
TINY 4% EXEMPTION–on the 29 th of August 2009, at the Hotel Tower, I introduced and requested of President Jagdeo, to give our miners a percentage amounting to between 5% & 7%, now reduced by us to 4% , equivalent to an total accumulative acreage exemption of 1.6 million acres, out of a total of 40 million acres of forest, from the Norway or any deal, TO ALLOW OUR MINERS A GUARANTEE TO MINE, IN THE WHOLE OF GUYANA, WHEREVER MINERALS ARE FOUND,FOR MANY YEARS TO COME, WITHOUT ANY FEAR OF CLOSURE.
I saw a very urgent need for this requested accumulated exemption for the following reasons.
A ) After reading a report, which stated that President Jagdeo said that he is prepared to set aside almost the entire forest of Guyana for Evironmental Conservation etc. I saw that it was extremely necessary to have some system put in place with some sort of A GUARANTEED ACREAGE, for the miners to work all over Guyana, FOR A GUARANTEED NUMBER OF YEARS.
I also knew that IF PRESIDENT JAGDEO NEGLECTED/REFUSED, which he has up to now, TO GIVE THIS TINY EXEMPTION, which was purposely reduced to a tiny 4 % from 5 to 7 %, to give our miners a better chance of winning approval, and WHICH COULD NOT AFFECT HIS LCDS PROGRAMME, was ABSOLUTE PROOF that the FUTURE OF MINING by our Small and Medium Scale Gold & Diamond Miners, was without any doubt whatsoever, regardless what anyone preaches, in SERIOUS JEOPARDY, and destined to be GRADUALLY MINIATURIZED and eventually COMPLETELY SHUT DOWN, by 2030 or before, as we have learned lately.
Mrs Janette Bulkan, wrote in her article on the 14-02-10, under the heading “President’s statement does not appear to accord with the MOU.“ that it was the Government Of Guyana (GOG), and not the KINGDOM OF NORWAY , which has to decide/dictate, how many acres will be put aside for Forest Preservation etc, since the Forest belonged to GUYANA.
Although I knew that, I nevertheless accused Norway then and now, of the possibility of them pressuring our President not to give us the exemption, BECAUSE THAT EXEMPTION COULD INTERFERE WITH THE FUTURE PLANS TO EVENTUALLY STOP ALL MINING, and also for them refusing to listen to us, where we are saying that MANY THOUSANDS OF OUR POOR PEOPLE, especially those in the Interior, WOULD BE DRIVEN INTO FURTHER POVERTY, at a time when they were, for the first time experiencing a boom, with the high price of Gold, and they (Norway) seem not to be advising the GOG to give us that tiny exemption, unless they THE KINGDOM OF NORWAY has taken over the SOVEREIGNTY of Guyana’s Entire Forests, as it would now appear.
Now that I have absolute Proof, which I always suspected, THAT THE MAJOR PLAN IS TO EVENTUALLY SHUTDOWN ALL MINING & LOGGING IN FORESTED AREAS, I realized why President Jagdeo, if he wants any money, CANNOT OR WOULD NOT BE ALLOWED to give our Miners, not even that tiny all over GUYANA accumulated acreage exemption, where our miners are only mining a yearly acreage of a tiny 0.0256% of the entire forest area. (Please note that a typing mistake was made in the last two page GGDMA publication in the SN & KN on the 3-05-10, where we said that 10,000 acres mined yearly was 0.256% of the forested area of 40 Million acres, instead of the correct percentage of 0.0256%. a giant difference)
At the present yearly Mining Acreage of less than 0.025 % a year, It will take over 40 Years, for our miners to mine an area of 1% of the forested area, while re growth of the forest will follow year after year
PRESIDENT JAGDEO SEEMS TO BE PLAYING “CHESS” WITH DANGEROUS AND POWERFUL PEOPLE, IN HIS ATTEMPT TO GET FINANCING FOR HIS LCDS PROGRAMME. President Jagdeo, in his quest for Guyana to receive money for his LCDS Programme, through its forest preservation, is being “PUSHED” by Norway and the World Bank, the latter in the shadows, to give up more and more concessions, if he is to receive the tiny money promised, as they realize that President Jagdeo is running out of time, as the end of his term of office is not far away, so President Jagdeo has to be very careful, what he may be forced to give up, which could damage his legacy, more that the loss of the money he is trying to raise for his LCDS programme.
PRESIDENT JAGDEO HAS KINDLY GIVEN THE GGDMA, PERMISSION. After several complaints, including, in our (GGDMA) last two page ad, on the 3-05-10 ,President Jagdeo, has agreed for us to send to him, our report, as it pertained to the understanding reached during the first phase of the SLUC report, which was sent to President Jagdeo, whereby we said that the report did not reflect what was reluctantly agreed to, including the ACCUMULATIVE EXEMPTION, which was never discussed, and where the meaning in the document was completely distorted.
WHY IS EVERYONE IN OUR SOCIETY “SITTING ON THE FENCE”, ESPECIALLY THE POLITICANS , AND SAYING NOTHING, WHEN THE MINERS AND THEIR FAMILIES ARE CRYING OUT FOR HELP,.( I Guess they are “CRYING IN THE ‘REAL” WILDERNESS) ,Although the Miners have not approached any politician, whether Ruling or Opposition for any help, as they want to keep this issue a non political one, nevertheless, one would have expected that since over a hundred thousand persons (VOTERS) would be affected, there would be some need for them to investigate the fears of the Miners . (I was told that a Space Ship abducted all the opposition Members, and I realized why they were not heard from) However the real answer why they are not involved, is a simple one. They believe that if they help the Miners and the Interior Coastland residents, living and working in the Interior, the Amerindian peoples who may be affected, would be annoyed, and visa versa, so they hide from both, hoping to get the votes from both sides.
INCREASE GOLD DECLARATION— If Government was to “put certain things in place” ( I don’t mean legislation) TO MINIATURISE THE ILLEGAL DRUG & MONEY LAUNDERING TRADE instead of putting things in place like WEAPONS/DRACONIAN MINING REGULATIONS, etc TO MINIATURISE OUR SMALL & MEDIUM SCALE GOLD & DIAMOND MINING INDUSTRY, we could see an increase in Gold sold to the GGB. in the not too distant future, THROUGH HIGHER PRODUCTION and declaration OF ONE MILLION OUNCES OF GOLD, YEARLY, with a direct earning to Govt. in Royalty & Taxes OF OVER US 70 MILLION DOLLARS YEARLY, and FOREIGN CURRENCY EARNINGS of US ONE BILLION DOLLARS, YEARLY while THE WORKERS in the Gold mining Industry, will take home US 200 Million Dollars or G 4 Billion Dollars
YOUR EXCELLENCY, THE 4% ACCUMULATIVE EXEMPTION WE ARE REQUESTING IS VITAL FOR ALL CONCERNED–Your Excellency President Jagdeo, we continue to appeal to you to give our Small & Medium Scale Gold & Diamond Miners, the tiny accumulated acreage of 1.6 Million acres out of 40 Million acres, and prove that you are a caring person, as the miners are secretly very afraid of their future in Mining, AS WITHOUT ANY GUARANTEE, WHICH THEY COULD ONLY GET WITH THE RECEIPT OF THE 4% ACCUMULATIVE EXEMPTION, many of them are presently not declaring all their Gold, and are seeking higher prices, wherever they could get it, as they see difficult times ahead for Mining, and there are many people out there, constantly tempting them to sell their Gold to them. Of course Gold is not the only money laundering tool used, as there are businesses and systems to also do so.
I guarantee you, your Excellency that if you give our miners that accumulated 4% Guaranteed exemption, it would achieve the following.
A ) It would remove the fear the miners secretly have, which would also stop the strained relations between Govt., the Miners & Interior residents, which presently exist.
B ) We could see a growing declaration that could REACH A MILLION OUNCES OF GOLD YEARLY , in the not too distant future, WITH VERY LITTLE ACREAGE INCREASE, even though we doubt that miners presently mine as much as 10,000 acres yearly, while it must be remembered THAT RE-GROWTH OF THE AREAS MINED, IS VERY FAST, COMPLETELY COVERING THE CANOPY IN JUST OVER A YEAR, due to the areas having a year round , higher moisture content.
C ) THE THOUSANDS OF PERSONS, WHO LIVE IN THE INTERIOR, AND THOUSANDS EMPLOYED ON DREDGES, including those from the coastland, who were paid last year, by dredge owners, OVER US 60 MILLION DOLLARS OR G1.2 BILLION DOLLARS on Declared Gold Production alone (not including Diamonds) WILL FEEL THEY HAVE A GUARANTEED FUTURE. (20% of US300 Million Dollars-US60Million) AND COULD TAKE HOME IN THE FUTURE ,US 200 MILLION DOLLARS OR G 4 BILLION DOLLARS.(20% of US One Billion Dollars) (YES THE WORKERS ON DREDGES, GET 20% OFF OF THE TOP)
Your Excellency, are we planning to stop these workers, who comprise of thousands of Amerindians, from receiving this kind of earnings, for the benefit of their families, their Wives & Children, Fathers and Mothers, & Sisters. What a disgrace, when this happens, and it will, as Night follows Day, if the accumulated 4 % exemption is not given by you.
YOUR EXCELLENCY, PRESIDENT JAGDEO, WHEN THE ACCUMULATIVE 1.6 MILLION ACRES ARE MINED OUT, ALL THE GOLD MINERS COULD THEN BE “KICKED” OUT OF THE FORESTED AREA.
