The finals of the Trinidad & Tobago National One-day League between arch rivals Aranguez and Bamboo Sports ended in an anti-climax when rain had the final say. In the end Aranguez and Bamboo were declared joint winners although Aranguez played unbeaten throughout the competition. Meanwhile, Aranguez won the toss and were batting at 48-1 in nine overs when heavy showers came and ended the game.
Aranguez had qualified for the finals by comprehensively beating Munroe Road last week. They made 308-5 from 50 overs with Michael Brown scoring 93, national middle order and MSC allrounder Deon Ferrier 63 and his local teammate Kellon Carmichael contributing an unbeaten 31 from 9 balls.
In reply Munroe Road were bowled out for 130 with Carmichael taking 3-18 from 10 overs while Ferrier took 2-21.
