A laptop computer and a video camera have gone missing from the office of the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) and officials there are none the wiser as to how the items went missing as there was no sign of a break and entering.
Stabroek News understands that the items were discovered missing last Friday when an employee conducted some checks.
Stabroek News was told that the computer was used by the board at various matches for scoring purposes mainly.
“There is a signing in and signing out procedure whenever someone removes the computer and according to the records the last person signed it back in and no one knows how it disappeared,” a source told this newspaper.
Reports are that this is the second video camera that has gone missing from the board’s office.
“In both cases all that was left were the boxes the camera was stored in.”
