-Holland to promote fight

Shondell ‘Mystery Lady’ Alfred will get a chance to win another world title in a different weight class in September or October this year against Ava ‘Lady of Boxing’ Knight.

Alfred, who on Saturday clinically disposed of Corinne Van Ryck De Groot in their bantamweight world title rematch, will fight for the Women’s International Boxing Association (WIBA) super flyweight title at the 115lbs.Knight, who has won five fights, drawn two and lost one, holds the IFBA North American bantamweight title. She lost in her first world title bid to Ana Maria Torres for the World Boxing Council (WBC) female super flyweight title last August by a unanimous decision.

According to president of WIBA, Ryan Wissow, Alfred’s bantamweight title will not be in jeopardy. Carwyn Holland will be the promoter of the fight.
