All-rounder Marc Singh slammed a century and captured three wickets in piloting Neal and Massy cricketers to a 94-run victory over Tiger Sports Complex in their feature Twenty20 tapeball cricket match played Wednesday under lights at the National Park tarmac.
Singh made a hurricane 155 which included 20 sixes and 4 fours in Neal and Massy’s mammoth 301 for 6 off their allotted 20 overs.
Leroy Primo and D. Sharma both chipped in with 30 runs. B Patrick was the pick of Tiger Sports Complex bowlers with 2 for 41.
King Sports Complex in reply were bundled out for 207.
Ron Ramnauth scored a defiant 108 which included 13 sixes and 4 fours while Sham Nokta hit 22 for the losers.
Kelvin Singh was the pick of the bowlers for Neal and Massy with 4-16 while Singh returned with the ball to capture 3 for 12.
The two teams will meet in a rematch next Wednesday at the same venue.
Neal and Massy has named an unchanged team for the encounter.
