Jimol Selby, 18, has been missing from his Kuru Kuru home on the Linden/Soesdyke highway since Sunday.

The teen’s mother Sylvanna Selby, told this newspaper that she left Jimol and his younger brother at home with his grandmother on Sunday afternoon while she travelled to Georgetown where she works.  She said that the boy does part-time work as a tattoo artist and that later that afternoon he told his grandmother that he was going to ink a tattoo for a customer. She said that her son left home wearing a white long sleeve shirt, a pair of black jeans and white sneakers.  Since then, he has not been seen.

Sylvanna said her son usually conducts his business at a friend’s home.  The friend told Sylvanna that Jimol never arrived despite calling earlier to say he was coming.   Calls to Jimol’s cellular phone have gone unanswered his mother told this newspaper yesterday.

The missing teen, Sylvanna said, has never even spent a night away from home. She is hoping that he is found quickly and unharmed.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Jimol is asked to contact the nearest police station or his mother on telephone number 694-1249.
