The Linden family of six left homeless after an early evening fire last week Friday are appealing for help to get back on their feet.
Michael and Celestine Seymour and their four children ages eight, 11 and ten-year-old twins were left only with the clothes on their backs when fire of unknown origin ravaged their 15×18, two-bedroom, wooden West Watooka, Wismar home. To date, the Linden Salvation Council has donated a quantity of clothing and hygiene packages to the family.
“We are very grateful to the Salvation Council because early the next day they came and pick up me and the children and took us to get some things, but we desperately need more support. Friends and family have been chipping in too but we finding it really hard right now and we need some help to rebuild our house,” Celestine said. The family is currently being housed at Celestine’s mother’s home.
