Designer Deryck Moore is infusing fashion into the Car and Bike Show slated for today at Anna Regina on the Essequibo Coast, promising a show hotter than anything on four wheels.
Moore is set to unleash a 60-piece collection including swimwear, casuals and semi-formal pieces and based on his reputation for designing sizzling swimsuits, the focus of the night is expected to be on the tiny pieces.
Moore told The Scene this week that he is planning a “show stopper” and is throwing in many gadgets to make the show consistent with the event. “We are throwing in wheels and chains among other things to make it feel real, it’s a car and bike show,” he said.
Patrons who turn up for the event at the Anna Regina Community Centre ground only have to purchase tickets to get into the ground and it covers both the ground and the show. Moore is calling on people in Essequibo to turn out because “it is going to be hot”. He is taking up around ten popular models from the city to feature in the show.
